EXCLUSIVE: Another World Renowned Celebrity DJ Coming to Kenya

In August last year, Kenyan house lovers were treated to a thrilling performance from Edward Maya who brought his A-game as the music kept everyone on their feet the entire night until the wee hours of morning. And now, yet another world acclaimed deejay/producer is headed to the 254.

Thanks to Monster Radio, Kenyan fans will finally quench their thirst as DJ@War makes his way to Nairobi. Speaking to Monster Radio CEO, DJ Mobi, he confirms that the celebrity deejay is indeed on his way but didn’t give the exact date only revealing that it will be in the first quarter of the year.

Hailing from the USA, DJ@War has been making a name for himself on the international stage. As a DJ his resume reaches far and wide in over 25 countries- whether performing to over 10,000 in Nairobi, headlining for Pacha in Malta, dropping the bass at Elune in South Korea, or at his bi-monthly residency at the world famous Space in Egypt.

As a producer his tracks have attracted support from genre pioneers and current stars alike- Eric Morillo, David Guetta, Tommy Trash, Fedde Le Grande and many more. In 2012 he featured as a producer on the Jaguar Skills & Amazing Friends album on Ministry of Sound, which propelled him to #2 on the ITunes UK Dance Chart. His tracks have been featured on labels like Toolroom, Downright, and Peak Hour.
