EXCLUSIVE: Top KTN Talent Set To Quit To Join CCTV

She has been one of the most consistent and dedicate member of the editorial team at the Standard Group-owned TV station.

Her skill and appearance on screen are some of the things that have made her astounding in her position as a news anchor and reporter.

But it seems her time at Mombasa Road is really up years after Kenyans preferred her for the job over a guy who gave her a run for the same.

It was in 2009 when in a fiercely contested encounter Edith Kimani managed to top the charts with Kenyans’ vote and effectively became a member of the KTN team that has been keeping Kenyans up to date with the latest happenings.

And when KTN is about to land another talent through the same process that saw Edith Kimani get the job, the TV siren is on her way out of the station after 6 years.

Credible sources have exclusively told Ghafla that Edith Kimani is quitting KTN for CCTV.

According to the sources, the lass is serving her last month at the station and her contract with CCTV is at hand already.

She is, however, not the only person leaving KTN. Our sources also tell us that another top talent, Cathrene Omwandho, is on her way out of the station and she is headed to Germany to work with Deutsche Welle TV and radio.
