Fiery Political Activist Explains Why He Declined to Appear on Larry Madowo’s “The Trend”

Last Friday, Larry Madowo, tweeted lamenting about Moses Kuria’s non-appearance on his show, The Trend.

According to Larry, the political activist had asked him to play the “Your Name Has Betrayed It” clip plus send question prior to the interview but when he declined Kuria never showed up.

Here’s his explanation;

“Last evening I was invited by Larry Madowo to appear on NTV’s ‘The Trend’ tonight regarding the allegations by CORD’s legal department, LSK. I heartily agreed. I then asked for four things:-

1) Send me the questions before hand (You will recall the chaos that was the last time I agreed to Larry’s invitation to The Trend)

2) Play the clip of ‘Your last name betrays you’ by Kalonzo Musyoka at the beginning of the interview

3) Play the clip of Bonny Khalwale at the Kibera ethnic bashing rally last Sunday at the beginning of the interview

4) Play the clip of Jakoyo Midiwo at the Kibera ethnic bashing rally last Sunday at the beginning of the interview.

On request to send questions Larry Madowo refused but I told him its OK. Its his right as a journalist not to send

On the Kibera ethnic bashing rally he said it was OK but NTV does not have that footage. I offered to bring my copy of the same and he grudgingly agreed.

On the ‘Your last name betrays you’ clip by Kalonzo Musyoka he said that he cant run that. ‘That would be an unfair clip’, said Larry Madowo.

I stood my ground. You run the Kalonzo clip if you want me to come for your show. We agreed to disagree. The show is off.”
