Forget the Likes of Ababu Namwamba and Mutula Kilonzo Junior, We Have a New Young Politician in Town. His Immense Wealth and Inspiring Manifesto Will Leave you Boiling with Excitement

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. This has to be the best definition of a leader and which one Mr. John Micheni aka Chap Chap abides by.

You are probably wondering why he ended being featured on Ghafla which mainly concentrates on entertainment, I will tell you why, because he inspired me after seeing what he was doing with the youth in Tharaka Nithi.

As a young boy growing up in a struggling family of 25, 1 boy and 24 girls, he has come to appreciate the values of hard work and persistence something which he is instilling in Tharaka Nithi youth with the very many projects he has started there.

As he normally likes to put it, “A man who drives his dad’s Mercedes has no moral authority to raise his voice at a man who rides his own bicycle” something which forms the basis of his manifesto. He wants many on a pedestal where they can motivate themselves and achieve greatness while also in the process getting to enjoy the good things in life. Like a good home and a posh car which I must say chap chap is fond of. He drives a sleek Mercedes and resides in the swanky neighbourhood of Lavington.

His journey to the top however has not been easy; it has exposed him to a ruthless world devoid of fairness, justice or equality. He has seen first-hand the uncontainable greed of politicians and businessmen alike, an ever blossoming drug trade, as well as the perilous consequences of drug abuse.

CHAP CHAP believes that the waves of change crashed into the Country not too long ago and that it’s time for young visionary leaders who can transform the lives of its residence to take up the heavy yoke of leadership with President Kenyatta at the helm.

”It’s a shame that a good portion of our leaders are only interested in enriching themselves quickly. They offer no services, they deliver on none of their promises, but to make matters worse they have the guts to embezzle what’s meant to improve our lives!”

This aspiring politician claims that he is tired of admiring and praising politicians from other constituencies. What he has to say, he now plans to do… as the MP for Maara Constituency. The constituency has pathetic roads which have resulted in several resident demonstrations, recurrent drainage problems and a rising drug problem that he plans to quash before it gets out of hand.

According to him, lack of job opportunities is also a major pain point that is leading youths to alcoholism and he will address as an MP Joseph.

Nevertheless, he has unwavering confidence in the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta and believes that he will be re-elected alongside his deputy, William Ruto, during the 2017 elections.
