Form Ni Gani Tour: Bahati Takes It Upon Himself To Inspire Children

Form Ni Gani Tour. What is that about? I’m glad you asked. It’s a tour being spearheaded by Bahati to teach children from across the land that their talents are -not to borrow Lupitah Nyong’o’s words but- that their talents are valid. The tour thus far has been to two schools with resounding success; Milimani Primary and Kibera Primary.

When I reached out to Bahati for a comment about why he decided to take this route of giving back to the society, he told me,
“I feel strongly about giving back to the community and I have always wanted to find a way to inspire people. I decided this was the avenue also as a form of worship for me in my way of showing gratitude to God for blessing him  with the talent he has.

I alot just want to let children know that while academics are important, our talents are an integral part of who we are and how we can identify with God so they shouldn’t be neglected. Plus in today’s world, in Kenya to be specific, it is possible to eat, to feed, to be prosperous off our own Godgiven talents.”
Check out some pictures of how it all went down this past week:
