Njambi says Makosewe was the most generous and supportive person she has ever come across, she revealed how the deceased radio queen helped her when she had completely given up about modeling and fashion.

“I used to model. My first try at a modelling competition was M-Net Face of Africa in 2001. Couldn’t make it because I was too ‘short’…I remember taking a bus home, with shattered dreams and crushed heart. Then I thought to myself maybe I should try Miss Kenya…school came in the way and I couldn’t do it. Tried a few other competitions and lost. Then I met Makosewe. She thought I was the most beautiful human ever lol, she told me I never needed those competitions anyway. She and I started doing shoots of our own. She introduced me to Shiro Nyoike…then we got our first shoot on the Drum Magazine of 2009 I think…and 2012…well dreams are valid you just have to work around them and do what you believe in and love. We always miss you Makosewe….no one like you baby girl!!!” Njambi narrated.
