Nowadays, a lot of new parents are gravitating towards the names Jayden, Liam, Aryanna and even Beyonce for their little ones, but not everyone is gravitating towards these beautiful names. And some of those people are the top celebrities who are opting for very unique names for their babies .

  • Ladasha Belle-Daughter to DJ Mo and Size 8

In mid November, the power couple welcomed their first born at the Karen Hospital and chose to name her Ladasha Belle. The name Ladasha  translates to ‘beautiful blessings’ while Belle, is a French word meaning “beautiful”. A famous bearer of the name ‘Belle’ was Belle Boyd who was a spy for the Confederacy during the U.S. Civil War.

 

  • Amor- Daughter to Brenda Wairimu and Juliani

Amor meaning ‘love’ was the distinctive name petite actress Brenda and Juliani chose for their first-born when she was born last year.

 

  • Lyric-Son to Talia Oyando and Director Eezy

Just like ‘One on One’ actress Kayla Pratt, Talia decided to name her son Lyric, Lyric basically means ‘the words of a song’

 

  • Havila Geither– Pitson

The ‘Wacha Niimbe’ musician concluded 2015 with joy after he welcomed a daughter named Havila Geither, his firstborn with wife Karol Mwai. The name specially picked by Pitson means “a place of gold”! (Genesis 2:10-11) while the name Geither is a Norse-Viking 8th century surname meaning “a goat herd” or “goat keeper”.

 

  • Tumiso- Wahu and Nameless
