And after much speculation, Ghafla! Kenya can once again exclusively reveal to you that it is now official that the new TV station will be launched on 26th June, 2015. I mean about two weeks from now.
A reliable source has revealed to Ghafla! that the TV station will be launched on this particular day and promos for the same are expected to run any time from today.
The big question is, how will this new TV station be different from its sister station KTN?
Well, according to our source, the TV station will be exclusively airing current affairs content. By current affairs content I mean shows like The Jeff Koinange Live show, The Alex Chamwada Report, Daring Abroad and prime time news while KTN will be airing content as entertainment programmes programmes like Jameni, Real Housewives of Kawangware and many more.
The only similarity between the two will be that prime time news will be the same and KTN will remain as it has been.
The move to come up with the new TV station is believed to be among others, to exploit the space created by digital broadcasting, to cater for the needs of the ever expanding audience among many others.
The name of the station will be revealed during the launch. Mark 26th June, 2015.
