Gubernatorial Trouble: Governor In Hot Water For Failing To Pay 1.5M For Child Support

Busia County Governor is in trouble after a woman he sired children with came out bracing wanting 1.5M for the upkeep of the children.

Governor Sospeter Ojaamong is said to have sired the children but took off, leaving the woman to take care of the them by herself.

A court had ordered the governor to pay for the upkeep but it seems he ignored the order, forcing the woman to come out yet again.

Nairobian reports that the amount has accumulated to 1.5M shillings and efforts to have Ojaamong give the money have proved futile.

This is not the first time a high ranking individual in the country has been embroiled in controversy about child support.

Former President Moi’s son Philip Moi has been in constant trouble after he was instructed to pay his estranged wife for the upkeep of their children.
