Has Comedian Aiyeiya Poa Poa Gone Mad or is it a Case of Serious Depression? (VIDEO)

Famous celebrities may seem to have it made, but they have problems just like the rest of us. And because they’re in the public eye, it can be difficult to keep those problems out of the spotlight.

Churchill Show comedian, A.K.A aka Ayeiya Poa Poa (Emmanuel Makori Nyambane) appears to be suffering from a serious case of depression. This, at least to how he has been behaving of late.

According to a Ghafla! reader who resides in Rongai, Ayeiya was over the weekend spotted behaving in an antisocial behaviour leading to him exhibiting some depression symptoms. Those who have observed his actions say that he has sunk into a deep depression and constantly fells like he’s in a “mental fog”.

Speaking to an official from Churchill Show, the comedian took a break to do some soul-searching and that’s why he’s been off the screen for close to 3 months. They however say that the comedian’s situation is under control revealing that he was rushed to the hospital over the weekend.

“Alipelekwa hosi already,” reveals the source who sought anonymity adding, “…lazima tum-make. Hatuwezimwacha hivo, hapana!”

They promised to fill us in about his condition but assured us that his condition is not serious and as such shouldn’t be any cause of alarm and that he will be back to his feet before we even realize it.

It’s unclear what led to his depression but we are made to understand that Ayeiya had some fears about coming back on the show after being out of action for some time.

On the other hand, on social media, there are rumours that his condition might have been triggered by smoking a lot of bhangi, but for now that notion remains just that; rumours.

Depression is just an illness that can happen to anyone. It’s is more than just feeling a case of the blues. It is a medical condition which may impact a person’s ability to control their thoughts and behavior, and in extreme cases, could even disrupt a person’s ability to perform everyday tasks.

In Ayeiya’s case it has led him into becoming so religious.
