Has Jeff Koinange Been Arrested?

Oh my wamae! One of Kenya’s finest and veteran pressmen is a wanted man. A man a court issued a warrant of arrest for contempt. A man who is wanted for hosting a guest who went ahead to spill beans on a controversial topic that the court had deemed unfit for audience consumption.

Yesterday the country was left jaws dropping after news emerged that Jeff Koinange would be arrested following a warrant of arrest.

Jeff himself admitted he was surprised by the ruling and wondered why he was a wanted man because he was never served with the court order stopping him and Tony Gachoka from discussing a controversial topic on his JKL show.

Miguna Miguna offered to help him out incase he is arraigned in court.

But has Jeff been arrested?

Well, it seems the veteran journalist is still a free man as he indicated through his twitter account. A follower requested to know whether Jeff was in police custody so that his fans would bail him out but Jeff retweeted the tweet and said:

So Jeff is still a free man. We have to wait and see what today brings.
