How Jaguar & Sonko Made Oil Libya at South C the Safest Place on Saturday Night

On Saturday night and early Sunday morning, the Oil Libya gas station based on Mombasa Road at South C was the safest place in Nairobi as musician Jaguar and Mike Sonko decided to hang out there.

For 5 hours (between 11PM & 5AM) the two influential but very down to earth friends hang out with their friends and even fans who stopped by to fuel were not stopped from saying ‘hi’ and even took photos with the duo.

One thing that stood out though was the level of security as Sonko’s security detail and Jaguar’s bodyguards manned the perimeters of the gas station to ensure their bosses and friends had fun without worrying about their safety. In total, there were about 10 security officers (4 armed G4S bodyguards and 6 cops) on the lookout.

When they finally decided to drive out at around 4AM Sunday morning, their huge convoy consisting of 15 high end vehicles (among them Jaguar’s new Jaguar F-type and Sonko’s 3 Mercedes S-Class) left the place deserted.
