Is England Having a Clue About Al Shabaab Activities? Shock As One Of The Militants Killed In Lamu Is Briton (Photo)

A British national was one of the 11 militants killed by the Kenya Defence Forces when they ambushed a military base in Lamu on Sunday.

It was confirmed that among those killed was Thomas Evans, 25, a Briton who was denied entry into Kenya in 2010 and chose to join Al Shabaab in Somalia from where he has been involved in a spate of attacks on the Kenyan soil.

It can be remembered that England has been issuing serious travel advisories to its citizens intending to visit Kenya, something that has dealt a major blow to tourism in the country.

Thomas Evans who hails from Buckinghamsire in England was among the 11 militants killed when they attacked a military base on the eve of the commemoration of one year since Al Shabaab killed more than 100 Kenyans in Lamu.

Did England have the intel that Thomas was targeting Kenya and therefore issued travel advisories to its citizens?

These are some of the questions we are asking ourselves as we ponder about the next move.
