Is Rapper Cannibal Detained in Dubai for Failing To Pay Hotel Bills? Find Out Here

Last evening, there emerged allegations that Ukoo Flani rapper, Cannibal, has been constricted in a leading hotel in Dubai after he failed to settle his hotel room bills. This allegation emerged from a Facebook group for Kenyans living in Dubai.

According to the writer of the post, Cannibal has allegedly accrued a bill of 700 AED (approx. 16,500K) at a hotel. In part, the post read, “Let’s get serious!!! Maji yakizidi unga Hung Boots kaka…wacha kuforce science…this artist is a young boy trying to up his game now he is stranded coz of 700aed Hotel Charges????”

Cannibal’s woes were however blamed on controversial Kenyan promoter based in Dubai, Hassan Waziri. In a quick rejoinder though Waziri pointed out that he had given Cannibal a down-payment of 30,000K via M-Pesa and agreed to pay the rest after the second performance scheduled to take last night.

Ghafla! spoke to one of the events’ organizer in Dubai, Chris Kims, who denied the allegations saying, “Those are just stories coz I was with the dude on Sato and Sunday”, maintained Kims adding, “And I just called and he is okay nothing is wrong.”

Cannibal left for UAE a week ago ahead of his performance at Howard Johson Hotel last Friday (Nov. 8).
