‘Jeff And I Are 100K Poorer’, Larry Madowo Admits After… This

Arguably the most decorated TV personalities in Kenya, Jeff Koinange and Larry Madowo are a famous lot who have built their careers through impeccable TV presence and skill, and, I want to be certain, are not relenting any time soon.

This explains why they were highly regarded as the journalists who had the highest chance to interview Obama when he came to Kenya.

They themselves believed so until when POTUS flew out to Ethiopia that they realized it was not a walk in the park landing an exclusive interview with the leader of the world superpower.

And months before the maiden POTUS visit, the two betted on who would interview Obama. And they put 100k each on the table for the same. The money would go to a charity aimed at helping the underprivileged in society.

So none of them got a chance and… 200k had to be coughed out of their pockets.

 “When Jeff Koinange and I realized we had both lost the POTUS interview. Turns out we can still afford a good laugh even if we’re each Sh100,000 poorer.” 

 Still, Larry and Jeff can afford a smile because they know their money will help somewhere if it is not squandered. This is the trend in Kenya currently. Every penny is squandered.
