40 year old Kiambu woman rapes 17-year-old blind boy… Infects him with STI

A mother of four children has been arrested for defiling a 17-year-old blind boy in Thika, Kiambu county. The woman, who is the boy’s neighbor, sneaked into his house in the cover of darkness and committed the offense.

The blind boy lives alone in a single room in Kiandutu slums, the house was rented for him by his aunt. The suspect stormed into the boy’s house at 1 am knowing he was defenseless.

The boys says his tormentor threatened to harm him if he raised alarm. She undressed the poor boy and forced him to have sex with her.

“It was around 1 am. She hurriedly started to undress me. She forced me to have sex with her and later threatened to harm me if I dared raise the alarm,” said the boy.

Sexually transmitted infections (STI)

The blind boy says he only spoke about his ordeal two days later when he started having lower abdominal pain and itching when he passed urine.

He says he confided in one of the neighbors after the pain become unbearable. The boy also told the neighbor that the woman who raped her had been pestering him to start begging in the streets.

The boy’s plight was addressed by a group of people living with disabilities who stormed Thika Police Station demanding action against the suspect.

Police acted swiftly and arrested the woman. She will be arraigned in court after investigation into the incident is complete.
