Anne Kiguta’s message of hope to colleagues fired from K24!

Anne Kiguta had a successful #Punchline show on Sunday, 21 June; but little did she know that her entire team was to be fired the next day!

Through her Instagram page the mother of two said to be involved with one of President Kenyatta’s kins went on to share a message of hope; as she celebrated them for being an amazing team that contributed to the success of her show.

As seen on her IG post, Ms Kiguta mentioned that it takes a village to create a good #Punchline show; and for this reason she remains grateful to everyone who helped deliver during the production of her program. She want on to post saying;

“It takes a ❤️TEAM❤️. #Punchline is an intense program. Often before we go on air we are a bee hive of actives. But yesterday my crew put on this old school hit and well I couldn’t help myself ???????????? We had a great program but little did we know that nearly my entire team would have put on air their last production at K24.

In conclusion she went on to wish her former colleagues all the best as she prayed for better and greater doors to open for their sake.

Ms Kiguta went on to say;

It was a great pleasure working with you all and getting to know you. You are ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank you for all your technical support on #Punchline. I couldn’t have done it without you. May God open wide new great doors for you all.❤️

Her message came just a few hours after the K24’s Human resource manager Maureen Wandera went on to leave a text saying;

I am contacting you with regards to the redundancy notice issued on 21st of May 2020. The notice period has expired. Unfortunately, your position has been affected by way of redundancy. I would like to invite you to Emory Hotel in Kileleshwa tomorrow, Monday 22nd at 8:55am to discuss what this means to your employment. When you get to the hotel kindly ask for me. We thank you for your indulgence and cooperation in this matter.
