ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Bruce Mfalme, fast-rising musician from Kakamega who is pushing the limits

It’s not everyday that a musician from Kakamega gets nationwide attention but to be honest, some of them are very talented and we just can’t help but talk about them.

Take for instance a fast-rising artist by the name Bruce Mfalme – who is currently topping charts with his latest jam dubbed Kokota.

Bruce Mfalme

Although he has not been in the industry for long, he has managed to achieve feats that his fellow musicians can only dream of. Some people are even referring to him as the next Otile Brown. Would you believe that?

Mfalme developed interest in music when he was in high school and with help from his uncle, he was able to record his first song. However, he later switched from secular to gospel music.

To date, he has churned out several jams including; Katoto, Simba Wa Majeshi, Mama and Nipokee, which have all been received well by his fans.

But that’s not all. Mfalme, who looks up to Tanzanian s;tar Harmonize has also been blessed with a big heart. He has allowed other artists to record songs at his studio christened Champion Records located in Nasra Estate for free.

Understandably, Mfalme has also been helping members of his community members through donations which come in handy, especially now that the country is; facing the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you ask me, it is only a matter of time before Bruce Mfalme blows up because he is such a talented vocalist. What’s more is that he has a heart of gold. Watch out for him!
