Bahati’s Video Vixen Releases Track Dissing Him Over Unpaid Debt (Video)

Brenda Otieno, the video vixen who was featured on Bahati’s 2021 smash hit “Adhiambo” featuring Ohangla maestro Prince Indah, has released a diss track over Bahati not being able to pay her for her services.

In a series of Instagram stories, Otieno accused Bahati and his team of being “rude and disrespectful” during the course of their arrangement. She also claimed that she was offered a payment of Ksh.10,000 (about $100) for her work, but she refused to take it as she felt she deserved more considering the fact that the shoot had lasted the whole day.

“I was promised Ksh.10,000 for the video shoot, but I refused to take it because I felt I deserved more,” Otieno wrote. “The shoot lasted the whole day and I was exhausted. I was also treated rudely by Bahati’s team.”

Otieno’s claims have sparked outrage on social media, with many people calling for Bahati to be held accountable. Bahati has yet to respond to Otieno’s allegations.

This is not the first time that Bahati has been accused of mistreating his staff. In 2019, a former employee of his record label, EMB Records, accused him of failing to pay her salary. Bahati denied the allegations at the time.

It remains to be seen whether Bahati will be held accountable for his alleged mistreatment of Otieno. However, her claims have once again raised questions about the way that artists treat their staff in Kenya.
