BBC’s Ciru Muriuki turning heads in new hairdo days after ditching her long-kept dreadlocks (Photo)

It takes courage to embrace change and former NTV’s The Trend host, Ciru Muriuki recently chopped off her 6-year old locs for a new look.

The babe did not elaborate why she decided to make the new move before parading her new hairdo online and fans cant get enough.

The sassy chocolate-skinned babe stepped out rocking a mohawk-look, the sides perfectly shaved and the center with a bit of bushy hair and kid you not, the lass looks much younger now. “New hair who dis? she captioned.”

There is something about getting hair off your face, that lights up your entire look, pronounces your neck, cheeks and even the shape of your face more.

Her glammed up face complemented the look with fans admitting that maybe it was time she had the locs trashed because the babe is now turning heads online.

Popular Kenyan actresses, Jacky Vike, Sarah Hassan, Shix Kapienga and Serah Teshna could not help but gush over the younger-looking Ciru Muriuki and her courage to embrace change even when it meant getting uncomfortable.

However, for those that felt sorry that the locs they always envied were now history, it was time to mourn.

Over the weekend, the BBC journalist took to the gram to showcase as her dreadlocks were getting chopped off at the barbers. The new move comes barely a month after she lost the man she treasured most in her life, her dad.
