Betty Kyallo Opens Up On How Near-Death Experience Made Her Lose Her First Boyfriend

In a recent interview with Obinna, renowned media personality Betty Kyallo revealed a deeply personal story about a life-changing accident she experienced in her teenage years that not only left her with physical scars but also affected her first love.

The accident occurred when Betty was just 17 years old, near the Railway Bus station. She was struck by a matatu (public minibus), which resulted in severe injuries, including facial injuries that required seven surgeries to repair.

In the interview, Betty shared that the accident had a profound impact on her first love. She described how her romantic life was flourishing until her face bore the scars from the accident. After the accident, her boyfriend at the time visited her in the hospital but couldn’t bear the changes in her appearance. He never saw her again.
