Citizen TV gives strongest indication Anne Kiguta is leaving the station

There have been rumors that Anne Kiguta will be leaving Citizen TV but no one has confirmed it quite yet. But if the station’s recent action is anything to go by then Kiguta is surely on her way out.

Kiguta was assigned the Monday Special news bulletin during the recent rebranding of Citizen TV. But now the station has replaced the mother of three from her Monday prime time slot.

Speculations are rife that Anne Kiguta will be joining K24 soon and now it appears Citizen TV is well prepared for her exit, to fill her position.

Citizen TV has been running promos indicating Yvonne Okwara and Hussein Mohammed will team up to host Monday Special news bulletin.

K24 is set for a major re-launch and now it’s clear that Anne Kiguta and Betty Kyallo will be unveiled together at the station. Betty quit KTN towards the end of July.

Citizen TV has also lost two other journalists – Waihiga Mwaura who joined BBC and Jacque Maribe who has been a guest of the state ever since she was arrested in connection with the murder of Monica Kimani.
