The long wait is finally over for anxious Kenyans who have been waiting eagerly to know their 5th President.
The tallying process took several days, and gave most netizens sleepless nights while awaiting the announcement. Constitutionally, IEBC are given 7 days to finish up the process and announce the winner. It’s now the 6th day and the competition between Raila and Ruto has been stiff- but in every competition, there must be a winner and a loser. This time, William Samoei Ruto has taken the victory home.
Ruto is the UDA presidential candidate in the 2022 presidential election. In the 2013 presidential election, Ruto was elected the Deputy President alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta under the Jubilee Alliance ticket.
