Diamond Lauds Rayvanny For Becoming 1st African Act To Perform At MTV EMA

Tanzanian musician Rayvanny (Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa) yesterday, November 14 made history for becoming the first African act to perform At MTV Europe Music Awards 2021. The awards, held at the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna in Budapest, Hungary marked the first time that Hungary hosted the awards show.

Rayvanny was feted by WCB CEO Diamond Platnumz; who showed exuberance since Rayvanny was a former signee of his label.

Diamond continued to admonish upcoming artists to stay focused and avoid indulging in drugs in order to level up in their career.

Rayvanny couldn’t hide his joy as he also took to his Instagram to celebrate this massive achievement as he wrote;

Vanny boy got the chance to perform in tandem with Colombian musical star Maluma.
The achievement comes  at a time when Tanzanian musicians are being compared to Kenya’s musicians in terms of performance.
