Comedian Eric Omondi is known for his outrageous stunts, but his latest one landed him in hot water.

Omondi was arrested on Thursday for driving his infamous “shoebaru,” a car made entirely of shoes. The car was impounded by the City Council of Nairobi askaris, who said that it was an illegal modification of a vehicle.

Omondi was taken to Central police station, where he was questioned by police. He was later released on bail.

The comedian took to social media to express his frustration, saying that he was being targeted for his creativity. He also said that he would not be intimidated by the authorities.

The arrest of Omondi has sparked a debate about the limits of free speech and expression in Kenya. Some people believe that Omondi was arrested for his political views, while others believe that he was simply breaking the law.

The case is still ongoing, and it remains to be seen what the outcome will be.
