Eric Omondi Mourns Death of Baby Pyden, Thanks Well-Wishers For Support

Comedian Eric Omondi has expressed his sadness at the death of one-month-old Baby Pyden Mudonga, for whom he had raised over Sh1.42 million to help with medical expenses.

Baby Pyden had been admitted to the Kenyatta National Hospital with cancer, but Omondi helped the family move him to a specialized facility.

In a video released on his social media accounts, Omondi said that he was “heartbroken” by the news of Baby Pyden’s death. He offered his condolences to the family and thanked everyone who had contributed to the fundraising efforts.

“I want to thank everyone who donated to the fundraiser. Your generosity made a difference in Baby Pyden’s life,” Omondi said. “He was able to get the best possible care, and he fought bravely until the end.”

Omondi also called upon the government to improve the public healthcare system so that more vulnerable people can access quality care.

“This is a tragedy that should never have happened,” Omondi said. “Baby Pyden deserved better.”

Omondi has been using his platform to raise awareness about various social issues in Kenya, including healthcare and government accountability. He has also been involved in various philanthropic efforts, such as the fundraising campaign for Baby Pyden.

Omondi’s death is a reminder of the need for better healthcare in Kenya. It is also a reminder of the importance of philanthropy and the power of people to come together to help those in need.
