Former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero’s Driver and Bodyguard Survived Londiani Accident

Former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has revealed that his driver and bodyguard survived the deadly Londiani accident on June 30.

Kidero said that his driver and bodyguard were on their way to Kisumu when their car was struck from behind by a trailer. The impact of the collision caused their car to skid off the road, but they were not injured.

The accident claimed the lives of at least 52 people and injured over 30 others. Witnesses said that the driver of the trailer was trying to avoid hitting a bus that had stalled on the road when he lost control of his vehicle.

Kidero expressed his condolences to the families of those who lost loved ones in the accident and thanked God that his driver and bodyguard were unharmed.

He also called for the government to take action to improve road safety in Kenya.
