Well, Joho has found himself in the same predicament; the Mombasa Governor was today May 31st blocked by police from attending the launch of Standard Gauge Railway at Miritini by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“It is true the governor has been blocked from accessing Miritini station. The security officers at the station said orders from above demanded that governor be barred from gaining entry into the station, where President Uhuru Kenyatta was presiding over the launch of SGR. Following the information, the governor left the station for his office,” Mombasa Couty Director of Communication – Richard Chacha was quoted by Citizen Digital.
