“I betrayed my marriage” Former Capital FM anchor Eddy Kimani narrates how his infidelity tore apart his marriage 

Former Capital FM Sports Presenter Eddy Kimani exchanged vows with his wife Nyambura Njenga at a colorful wedding held at St John the Evangelist Church in Karen on September 2nd 2011.

Eddy and Nyambura’s marriage hit a rock bottom in 2014 when the latter got a job as a communications director for Nakuru County.

He moved to Nakuru without his family and he fall into the temptation of cheating on his wife. Eddy opened up about his ordeal while giving a talk on Engage Talk.

“I betrayed my marriage, separated from my family due to infidelity… missed my children, this killed me every single day and night,” said Eddy.

Broke and a failed marriage

Eddy revealed that he earned less money working at Nakuru county government compared to his salary at Capital FM. This affected him and he started other side hustles which also failed.

Things got worse for Eddy as he was thrown out of his rented apartment twice and his items got auctioned once. He was forced to move back to his parent’s home before he relocated to Mombasa to hustle.
