“It is time to move on” Edmond Nyabola quits NTV

Edmond Nyabola is the latest journalist to leave NTV and the larger NMG family. The sports anchor quits the Kimathi street-based media house after five years.

Nyabola’s departure comes just four months after former Nation journalist Wallace Kantai joined Central Bank to head communications department.

“It has been FIVE great years with NTV Kenya (NMG). I have worked with an excellent team, learnt aplenty, grown immensely, interviewed great people and won awards. It is time, however, to move on to something else. Gutted that I am leaving a place that will forever be home to me. Maybe someday I will be back, but until then, be well, Twin Towers,” wrote Edmond Nyabola.

Restructuring

Nation Media Group (NMG) is set to retrench more employees as part of its continued restructuring. The media house’s top honchos met employees in January to discuss the restructuring.
