Joseph Irungu, also known as Jowie, released a new worship song shortly after receiving a guilty judgment in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.

After nearly five years in court, Jowie was convicted guilty of the murder on September 19, 2018, and he released the new song, “Nakuabudu,” on YouTube.

Jowie sings in the opening of the audio track that he will adore and honor Jesus alone. Over 4,000 people have watched the movie on YouTube thus far.

Jacque Maribe, Jowie’s co-accused and ex-lover, said the truth had finally come to light after she was found not guilty in court.

Following the court proceedings, the media celebrity spoke to the media and cited a verse from the Bible.

“I don’t know if to say anything, I’ll just say go read John 8:32; ‘For you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free,'” Maribe said while embracing friends.

Justice Grace Nzioka ruled that there was insufficient evidence to connect Maribe to the crime.

Nzioka declared, reading the verdict at Milimani Law Courts, “The prosecution did not adduce adequate evidence to find the second accused person (Jacque Maribe) guilty of the offence of murder.”
