Most women in today’s society do not submit, and those who do are made to feel ‘strange’ about it.

Despite being married for 15 years, Judy Nyawira, the wife of content producer Abel Mutua, has given an explanation for why she has remained submissive.

Nyawira explained to Lynn Ngugi what submitting meant to her in an interview.

“Submission is recognizing that there are times when I have made more money than him and there are others when he makes more.

We’ve never argued over money. There is no such thing as “my money” in our union. When I have the opportunity to act, I do it because I want to.

It’s crucial to recognize that there are several marriage seasons and that the husband is always in charge.

Nyawira advises against assuming that just because woman makes more money than man, she is the family’s head.

“We are helpers even in the Bible. The head will stay where it is, and he will succeed in life, if you are good helper as woman.

Accepting that he is the head of the household and that am merely helper who does my job well is submission. Abel, on the other hand, claimed that his wife Judy Nyawira is what motivates him to succeed.”

In an interview with Lynn Ngugi, Mutua claimed that if it weren’t for his wife, he would be worthless individual. Mkurugenzi commended his wife and said that she was crucial in helping him become the person he is today.

“Judy gives me the energy to reach new heights. And she hasn’t just started being that now; it’s been who she is ever since we first met in 2008.

Every circumstance we have encountered has served as motivation for me to work even harder. I appreciate her. I keep reminding her that without her, I would have been nothing, part of Mutua stated.
