Kenya Power Announces Power Outages In Parts Of Five Counties

Kenya Power has announced that there will be scheduled power outages on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in select parts of five counties: Nairobi, Bomet, Trans Nzoia, Nyeri, and Kiambu.

The outages will affect the following areas and times:

• Nairobi: Evergreen area (parts of Runda, Woodvale Drive, Mugumo Drive, and parts of Ruaka Road) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Bomet: Chebunyo, Emarti, and Kaboson areas from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Trans Nzoia: Gumo farm and Elgon tea areas from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Nyeri: Ndima and Kiaruhiu areas from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Kiambu: Kamwangi, Igegania, and Icaciri from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Kenya Power apologizes for any inconvenience the outages may cause and asks customers to plan accordingly.
