Kenyan Journalist Kevin Phillips Momanyi Tours Atatürk Olympic Stadium Ahead Of UEFA Champions League Final

Turkish TV station TRT Afrika’s Kenyan journalist Kevin Phillips Momanyi is set to cover the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.

In a viral video, Momanyi expressed his excitement at being able to tour the stadium and prepare his audience for the final.

Momanyi also took the opportunity to reflect on Gor Mahia, a Kenyan football club that he supports. He said that he wished Gor Mahia could one day make it to the Champions League.

“I’m here at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium, where the Champions League final will be held tomorrow,” Momanyi said in the video.

He continued;

“I’m so excited to be here, and I can’t wait to see who wins. I wish Gor Mahia could be here, but one day I know they will be.”
