‘Kenyans Will Regret’- Vocal Austrian-Based Journalist Elizabeth Irungu Responds To Supreme Court Ruling On LGBTQ

Recently, The Supreme Court of Kenya ruled that the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) community have the right to association.

The judgment brings to a close a nearly decade-long court battle and debate on the rights accorded to gays and homosexuals in the country.

The colloquy has roped in several celebrities’ reaction as they’ve shared their sentiments on the ruling. Most are actually in disagreement with the court ruling and think that the queer community shouldn’t exist.

Following the Supreme Court ruling that the LGBTQI community has a right to freedom of association in Kenya. The no nonsense, vocal Austrian-based journalist Elizabeth Irungu now screams that the country is moving towards the wrong direction as we have bigger problems to tackle. She criticizes leaders for receiving money from western organisations to create non-issues in our nation. According to her it is all just an attack on the nuclear family comprising of father, mother and children, marriage as planned by God and church.

Irungu further states that Kenya will regret it once our children start being targeted and transitioned from boy to girl as well as vice versa as is happening in the west currently! She says it is only a matter of time before they start this “transgender movement” also in Kenya!
