Kirigo Ng’arua back to limelight with her own show after being fired from Citizen TV

Kirigo Ng’arua was among 32 people who were shown the door sometimes in October 2016 when Royal Media Services (RMS) was forced downsize.

Terryanne Chebet and Kirigo Ng’arua were among the big names that were let loose when RMS decided to retrench its staff. The two former anchors are doing even much better since they left Citizen TV.

Kirigo Ng’arua’s love for journalism has seen her start her own talk show dubbed ‘The Girlfriends Table’ (TGT) which offers women a platform to share their experience with the intention of inspiring other women out there.

“This is what we at #TGT strongly believe in..It is only by helping one woman by sharing our stories do we then see a ripple effect in society…so women, let us rise to the occasion and be each other’s keeper!” Kirigo Ng’arua explained the essence of TGT.

The former Citizen TV anchor hosted the first episode of TGT a week ago, she has not yet revealed which platform (TV or YouTube channel) TGT will be airing on.
