Lupita Nyong’o finally pens tear-jerking tribute to fallen co-star Chadwick Boseman

Lupita Nyong’o was on the receiving end soon after fellow co-star, Chadwick Boseman’s tragic death engulfed the world.

But what many did not know was she was wise enough, taking her time to let her heart and entire being speak with sincerity and now, letting public a long tear-jerking statement about the deceased.

With a sweet photo of the two during one of their good times, Lupita penned;

I write these words from a place of hopelessness, to honor a man who had great hope. I am struggling to think and speak about my friend, Chadwick Boseman, in the past tense. It doesn’t make sense.

A man she shared so many stages with, a man she might not have spent so much time around, but in those few days, weeks and months, he left a profound effect on the melanin-skinned beauty.

When we came together to make Black Panther, I remember being struck by his quiet, powerful presence. I noticed that Chadwick never seemed rushed! He commanded his time with ease…

Something about him would lessen the burden on Lupita’s shoulders.

His large hands would descend on my shoulders and give them a squeeze that relieved me of the tensions I did not realize I was holding. When I was around him, I wanted to be better, less petty, more purposeful…

“He was careful with his words, his actions and emotions,” Lupita Nyong’o attested.

He seemed to really love himself; he accepted himself. And perhaps that’s why he was capable of loving so many, so deeply.

But there was some energy and zeal in Chadwick that up to date, Lupita doesn’t seem to understand who failed who.

He took the risk to be alive, fully alive and used his body in every way he could. So it seems that it was life that gave up on Chadwick long before he gave up on life…

His unwavering support and love for the black people to date, baffles the Kenyan film icon. “His power lives on and ill reverberate for generations to come. He used his life force to tell meaningful stories. And now we tell his…” she continued.
