Veteran actor Melvin Alusa has opened up about the joys and challenges of raising a large family of eight children. The 42-year-old star, who is known for his roles in both film and television, expressed gratitude for his eight children, five boys and three girls.

Alusa admitted that having such a large family was not something he initially envisioned, but he is grateful for the blessing. He also spoke about the financial strains of managing a household of that size, emphasizing the importance of being present for his children in every aspect of their lives.

When asked about whether he would consider a vasectomy, Alusa revealed that he is done having children but opts not to undergo the procedure. He jokingly remarked that he doesn’t want someone massaging him “in areas they are not supposed to.”

Alusa also shared an update on his upcoming family reality series, disclosing that the project is in progress and the pilot has already been shot. The series aims to provide entertaining insights into his family life and, more importantly, send a message about the significance of parental responsibility.

In a previous interview, Alusa spoke about how his wife helped him overcome the negativity he faced on social media after an unsuccessful audition for Big Brother Africa. He credited her with being his support system during a difficult time.
