Millie Odhiambo goes to the rescue of Louis Otieno after his plight is highlighted

Louis Otieno’s predicament has touched the hearts of many people. The former KTN anchor has lost his hearing and is in need of financial help to travel to India for specialized treatment.

Louis’ plight was highlighted during a recent interview on KTN. The interviewer had to write questions on paper which she gave Louis to read so that he could respond.

The father of one lost his hearing during one of his admissions to hospital. The former KTN anchor has been in and out of hospital, he is suffering from acute pancreatitis.

Friends flee

Louis says people he thought were his friends abandoned him the moment problems came knocking. He shed tears as he recalled how he was suddenly deserted by friends.

Millie Odhiambo has since vowed to help Louis undergo the surgery needed to restore his hearing. The MP says she will marshal other lawmakers to  pool resources and form an initiative to support Louis.

“Our attention has been brought to the plight of Louis Otieno who was a top media personality in Kenya, and we want to say as concerned Members of Parliament that we are going to support him in whichever little way we can,” said Millie Odhiambo.
