Nairobi Crime Update: Man killed trying to fight off thieves

Mathare Slums: A 26-year-old man, Vincent Otieno, was tragically killed during a robbery attempt in Mathare 4A on Saturday evening. He sustained head injuries while trying to fight off two attackers who wanted his phone and cash. He later succumbed to the injuries at his home, despite not seeking medical attention. His body was found on Sunday, and a suspect has been arrested. Police urge residents not to resist robbery attempts, prioritizing their safety over possessions.

Muthurwa: The body of 38-year-old Suti Orina was discovered in Muthurwa Block B on Saturday night. No visible injuries were found, and the cause of death is under investigation. An autopsy will be conducted as part of the probe.

Pangani: A 17-year-old boy was stabbed and seriously injured in Ushirika Estate on Saturday evening. The motive and perpetrators are unknown, but police are investigating. The boy is currently hospitalized.
