Nairobi Governor Sakaja Reshuffles County Executive Committee

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has announced a major reshuffling of his County Executive Committee (CEC) members. The reshuffle aims to optimize the performance of the county government and enhance service delivery to the residents of Nairobi.

The new portfolios are as follows:

  • Maureen Njeri is now the CEC for Inclusivity, Public Participation, and Customer Service.
  • Suzanne Silantoi is now the CEC for Health, Wellness, and Nutrition.
  • Patrick Mbogo is now the CEC for Mobility and Works.
  • Rosemary Kariuki is now the CEC for Business and Hustler Opportunities.
  • Ibrahim Auma is now the CEC for Boroughs Administration and Personnel.
  • Anastasia Nyalita is now the CEC for Finance and Economic Affairs.
  • Brian Mulama is now the CEC for Talent, Skills, and Care.
  • Stephen Gathuita Mwangi is now the CEC for Built Environment and Urban Planning.
  • Michael Magero Gumo is now the CEC for Innovation and Digital Economy.

The reshuffle reflects the governor’s commitment to addressing the diverse needs of the county and promoting economic growth. It also aims to ensure that the CEC members are better aligned with the county’s strategic priorities.
