Pastor Ezekiel Odero Donates Foodstuff & School Fees Worth Millions

Pastor Ezekiel Odero of Newlife Prayer Centre and Church donated foodstuff worth Sh2.1 million, school fees for all Form 4 students, and sanitary towels to Vyambani Secondary School in Kilifi on Monday.

The donation was part of the church’s outreach program, which is held every Monday. The church visits different communities in need and provides food, clothing, and other necessities.

On Monday, the church visited Vyambani Secondary School, which is located near the church’s Mavueni premises in Kilifi County. The school has a population of 630 students, most of whom come from poor families.

Pastor Odero donated 100 bags of beans, 170 bags of rice, 50 bags of maize, 10 50-liter jerricans of cooking oil, a bull, and 2400 pieces of sanitary towels to the school.

“We haven’t forgotten you our female children. There are things we use but some of our parents don’t have cash to buy these things like sanitary pads. That’s why today, each one of you will leave with enough sanitary towels,” Pastor Odero said in his address to the students amid thunderous applause.

The students and staff of Vyambani Secondary School were grateful for the donation. They said that the donation would go a long way in helping the students to stay in school and to achieve their academic goals.

“We are very grateful to Pastor Odero and his church for this generous donation. This will be a great help to our students,” said the school principal, Mr. John Mwangi.

Pastor Odero’s donation is a reminder that there are people who care about the needs of others. It is also a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
