Photos of the beautiful NTV reporter who was kidnapped by unknown people on Saturday
Emotions ran high last Saturday April 8th after news broke that NTV reporter had gone missing after being taken hostage by unknown people.
Getrude Tumusiime Uwitware was kidnapped by unknown abductors who kept her hostage for several hours – she was whisked away while going by her business in Kampala and driven to an unknown destination.
The NTV Uganda reporter was freed at midnight the same Saturday, the reason for her abduction is still not known. Ugandan police released a statement saying that Getrude was dumped late Saturday night by the same people who took her hostage.
The police further revealed that the NTV reporter was threatened by the kidnappers during the time that she was held hostage.
Getrude was however not harmed during the ordeal, she reported a complaint about persons threatening violence against her.
