“Please don’t judge me” Jacque Maribe’s message to Kenyans before police arrested her

Jacque Maribe was arrested on Saturday September 29th in connection with the brutal murder of Monica Kimani. The Citizen TV anchor spent two nights in police custody before she was presented in court on Monday.

Police arrested Jacque after they recovered some documents, among them a wallet and a handbag believed to belong to Monica at her house in Royal Park, Lang’ata.

Jacque Maribe has found inspiration from Chris Brown’s song ‘Don’t Judge Me’.  The Citizen TV anchor posted part of the song’s lyrics on her profile on Instagram before police arrested her.

“Please don’t judge me…and I won’t judge you…cos it could get ugly…before it gets beautiful,” wrote Jacque Maribe on her profile.
