Raw video showing racist Lebanese army official assaulting two Kenyan women sparks uproar (Disturbing video)

Two Kenyan women were assaulted in broad daylight by a well-built man in Beirut, Lebanon. Video doing rounds on social media shows the man attacking the two women before a mob joins him to beat up the Kenyans.

The attack went on for 15 minutes before police intervened. Middle East Eye reports that the man was let go by the police while the Kenyan women were arrested.

Deportation order

The man who assaulted the two women has been identified as a Lebanese army official. The women were taken in custody where they recorded a statement.

They explained that the incident happened when the army official swerved his car at them. An argument then broke out between them which made the man start to assault them.

The two Kenyan women were served with deportation order for being in Lebanon illegally after police questioned them. Lebanese internal security ministry was forced to comment on the issue after video showing the two Kenyan women being assaulted went viral.
