Shaffie Weru Returns to the Entertainment Industry as brand ambassador for Rick Ross champagne

Media personality Shaffie Weru is making a comeback to the entertainment industry as the East Africa brand ambassador for Luc Belaire, a renowned alcoholic drink.

Weru, who is currently heading events and branding for Governor Johnson Sakaja’s office, said he is excited about the new role and is looking forward to contributing to the revival of the entertainment industry.

“This new position will enable me to bring back [my party persona] Raverend. I will help the entertainment industry bring back the economy,” he said in an interview with Nairobi News.

Weru’s official unveiling as Belaire’s brand ambassador is expected to take place this week. He said the role will require him to be active both day and night, aligning with the vibrant party scene that characterizes his industry.

As part of his ambassadorial duties, Weru will be traveling extensively and promoting the brand at events and parties. He hinted that his earnings from this role would surpass his previous income when he was an on-air personality.

“I will be making double what I made on the radio,” he said.

Weru is no stranger to the entertainment industry. He has been a radio presenter, event organizer, and DJ for many years. He is also known for his flamboyant personality and his love of parties.

His appointment as Luc Belaire’s brand ambassador is a sign of the growing popularity of the brand in East Africa. Belaire is a luxury champagne that is known for its smooth taste and its association with celebrities and high-end events.

Weru’s appointment is also a boost for the entertainment industry, which has been struggling in recent years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. His presence as a brand ambassador is expected to help promote the industry and attract new customers.

Weru is confident that he can use his platform to help the entertainment industry recover and thrive. He said he is excited to get started and is looking forward to working with Belaire to promote the brand and the industry.
