Water birth is the process of giving birth in a tub of warm water, something that Wendy Kimani experienced when welcoming her baby boy. Well many women believe that this mode of giving birth is gentler for the baby and less stressful for the mother and this could be the reason why Wendy chose not to visit the hospital like some mothers do.
In a new photo shared to celebrate Mothers Day the singer talked about how grateful she is to have a mother like hers. She went on to thank her mummy for always being there for her and for the love she has always shown her.

However, what caught my attention is that Wendy Kimana’s mum actually present when the singer was giving birth to her son under water. The photo shared shows Wendy holding on to her mother while she labored in their house where she chose to have a natural birth.
The singer captioned the photo;
Mommy, you held me and comforted me, during our underwater home birth, what an experience huh??…I am so blessed to have you as a Mom. #loveyoumom #happymothersday #homebirth #underwaterbirth
Anyway… judging from the sweat on her back it’s true that natural birth is an accomplishment to be proud of but the bottom line is, bringing a life into this world, whether naturally, via C-section or with an epidural, is a remarkable blessing that no method of birth can take away!
