B Classic Quits Music, Blames Kenyans For Not Supporting His Music (Video)

Taita Taveta based musician B-Classic has announced that he has officially quit producing music. The singer made the announcement on a brief video where he was seen working in a car garage; where he previously worked before becoming a star.

B Classic’s decision to leave the music industry was expedited by Kenyans; who are not supporting his music. At least this is what we know from his sentiments.

He went ahead to claim that his new hustle is doing quite well. He stated;

”Ndugu yangu mi nimeona tu nirudi garage maana unajua hii ndio kazi yangu nilianza nayo. Nimeona mziki wakenya hawataki kuni support. Apa ndio nilianzianga kazi.”

He reiterated over his predicaments as he captioned the video;

”I Quit Music ???? because of frustrations , No Support From Fans ????Never Thot Ningewai Choka Na Kitu Nilipenda Sana , Ila situations will force You , for those who believed in me am sorry labda one day things might change . Good luck Kwa Hustle Yangu Mpya ????????????”

The singer has come from far, rising from a street child to a successful musician. B Classic is not one to chase clout but the video has left netizens suspecting that he’s definitely after the clout.

His generosity was noticeable when he fulfilled his promise of gifting Omosh with a new camera, tripod and microphone at a time when Kenyans were angry at him for his begging spree. This time, B Classic is the one seeking for support.

Your product is your music and at times it means going out of your way to get the best that is why I get it when two artists like Bruce Mfalme and B Classic spend a lot of money on a video.

Bruce Mfalme

They reportedly spent Ksh 2 million shillings on their latest project dubbed Zezeta which was directed by Royal State Pictures – which is one of the best video/film agencies in Kenya.

The video quality is really good, actually let me just say it is crisp. The styling, locations and transitioning are also dope.

The audio was produced by Top Player On The Beat from Champion studios and trust me, he really came through. It’s totally fire.

Bruce Mfalme and B Classic have melodious voices which blend really well with the instrumentation on this track. Put simply, everything on this Zezeta is perfect. I would listen to it all day.

When I look at these two first rising artists I see our very own versions of Harmonize and Diamond, and maybe they might even prove to be way better.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: B Classic, former street kid who has risen to be one of Kenya’s top vocalists

If you love good music then perhaps you should  get to know an artist by the name B Classic because other than the fact that he has been gifted with a melodic voice, he also has a moving story.

The singer, whose real name is Dennis Manja, was abandoned by his mother at a young age and this forced him to resort to being a street kid for a while before he was taken in by a Somali woman.

They later parted ways and he had to do menial jobs to survive. B Classic later met a friend who convinced him that he had a nice voice and that he should try out his luck in music. That his how his musical journey began.

To date, he has recorded three songs titled Unakill, Fundi and Baby I Swear – which is his first project under his new stable Champion records.

Baby I Swear tells the story of a young chap who is willing to do anything to please a certain gorgeous lady who has been giving him sleepless nights and hopefully win her heart.

One of the things that s;truck me about this jam, other than B Classic’s melodic voice is the instrumentation. It’s so dope and it blends so well with B Classic’s voice and makes you want to listen to the song over and over.

The video, which was directed by Adam of Royal State Pictures, is also on point. From the crisp quality to the scene transitioning. There is so much to love about it. Not to mention the dope styling and lighting.

B Classic is definitely the next big thing. If I were you, I would watch out for him because he has the potential to be one of the most sought after acts in the region.
