Gospel group Weka Tick has announced plans to guide Kevin Bahati and Willy Paul back to their spiritual and musical roots. The group made the announcement during an interview at Churchill’s Chacho Kids Festival event on August 13.

Weka Tick is comprised of DJ Gee Gee, Timeless Noel, Ocampo, Jabidii, and Didi Man. The group said that they are committed to bringing the two artists back to the kingdom of God.

Timeless Noel spoke to Kevin Bahati directly, reminding him of God’s love for him and his past achievements as a gospel artist. He also highlighted that Bahati has been using his gospel followers to do his own things instead of glorifying God.

Jabidii spoke about the group’s deep contemplation of Bahati’s journey. He appealed to Bahati’s sense of belonging, reminding him that a substantial portion of his musical catalog is firmly rooted in gospel themes.

Jabidii also touched on Willy Paul’s departure from gospel, attributing it to external pressures within the music industry.

Weka Tick’s announcement has been met with mixed reactions. Some people have praised the group for their commitment to bringing back the two artists to their roots, while others have criticized them for being too intrusive.

For quite a long time, most people thought that Willy Paul and Bahati were beefing. The two would be seen trolling each other on social media often, but it seems like all this was not serious. Weeks ago, On Eric Omondi’s show, Willy Paul imitated Bahati’s singing style and termed him as ‘a cat’ because of his voice. Well, turns out all this was just one of the boys’ games. No malice was intended. The two have been seen having brotherly moments in a video posted on Bahati’s page.

In the video, Dk Kwenye Beat is also among the duo and were seen spending time while teasing each other.

Bahati’ wrote,

Additionally, Bahati hilariously trolled Pozze on the same post saying,

”Guys I Just Noticed if I was a Woman Mtu wa Kwanza Ningepea ni Mg Brother Pozzee … I have Never Met a Person Who Loves Me Like he does ???????????????????????? TRUE OR FALSE???”

The fans of both Bahati and Willy Paul marvelled at their union and asked them to do a collabo soon.

The beef between Willy Paul and Bahati is still raging. Singer Willy Paul has trolled Bahati about his voice, terming him as a cat. The singer even goes ahead and imitates Bahati on how he sings.

”Bahati wewe ni paka because of ya ako ka sound.”

The two have been beefing for a long time, reason being Bahati accused Willy Paul of stealing his songs.

Willy Paul said this in Eric Omondi’s Show. In the same video, Bahati did not hesitate to give his comeback comment.

”Aaah Érico you brought My Biggest Fan to Your Show. I Love the Way she has Crammed my Songs.”

Eric Omondi also noted that Bahati is now hated by most people, even more than Willy Paul.

Bahati is currently celebrating 14 days of love with his lover Diana Marua. The two had promised each other gifts until the 14th day of the month as a way to show their love. On the 8th day, Bahati’s gift to Diana was to allow her to apply make up on him and dress him as a woman.

The action has since sparked different reactions from celebrities and their fans.
