TV news anchor Betty Kyalo has dated several well-known people. This has not been a good experience for the mother of one.
She has now vowed never to fall for a public figure because it comes with a huge price. Speaking with Jalang’o, Kyalo, who has just turned 30, she confessed that dating a celeb comes with a huge set of drama and she’s not ready to entertain all that.
“I’m happy financially, and the other thing is I said I don’t want to date anyone who is in the public limelight, again,” she said.
We all know how her relationship with Dennis Okari turned out a few years ago. And when she later moved on to Joho, things switched to worse. So maybe she has a reason for saying all that.
Wilkins Fadhili, a man that was exposed for being a con man and using popular entertainers’ names to swindle thousands from Kenyans, is banking on sympathy in an effort to clear his name and avoid looming law suits.
Fadhili, who was blasted online for his con games that have seen him pretend to be a renowned brand strategist, messaged K24 Betty Kyalo begging her for forgiveness after his act.
“Hello Betty I would like to say I’m really sorry for using your name. i totally understand that its absolutely wrong, i was very stupid, inconsiderate and very ignorant, I’m really sorry and hope you find a place in your heart to forgive me. I’m making amends and working on being a better person in society and to be a blessing to each and every person. I’m sorry,” he texted Betty.
Betty posted the message on social media saying he has forgiven the young man.
“Forgiven Wilkins. We all make mistakes, no one is perfect. We can only aspire to be better and then do better. I wish you well. God bless,” she said.
Other names he used in his con games haven’t really fallen for his apologies. Larry Madowo said he’s pressing charges while Ruth Ambogo said there’s a law firm already willing to represent all those names were used.
Kenyans during the weekend were glued to raveling drama online as self-proclaimed brand strategist Wilkins Fadhili, real name Edwin O, Osigro was exposed as a conman.
Edwin, a man who was once named among Kenya’s top 40 entrepreneurs and invited to be one of the mentors at Blaze by Safaricom in 2016, ended up being exposed on social media as con man who has been using other people’s name to make a living in Nairobi.
Kahawa Tungu officially exposed him after Larry Madowo, who has been trying to control the damages that fake Facebook accounts are doing to his brand, exposed him and said he’s pressing charges.
Celebs have now joined Larry’s tune and are coming out to deny any association with Wilkins Fadhili after the expose.
Rapper Wangeci mocked him for wearing the same shoes at Blaze summit n 2016.
“The only story I have of Wilkins Fraudhili is wondering why a millionaire worth the same shoes throughout the Blaze 2016 summits,” she tweeted.
Citizen TV’s Victoria Rubadiri and K24’s Betty Kyallo have also both come out to distance themselves from Wilkins.
“Just to let anyone concerned about any engagements with Wilkins Fadhili; I wouldn’t want to beat him when he’s already down but what he’s been doing is wrong. He is not my ‘brand strategist’ nor that of Flair By Betty. I asked him to stop using my name but he never listened,” said Betty.
I communicated with him in various occasions on my disappointment that he continued to lie to people about working with me but he didn’t stop. That said I forgive him for using my name deceitfully, I wish him well and I hope he can just apologize to the people he took on a ride.

For a person who has been scrutinized by Kenyans after her marriage broke lose only six months after exchanging vows, news anchor Betty Kyalo has learned a lot from the tormenting experience.
The news anchor took to social media to console fellow news anchor Lilian Muli after her ugly break up with rich hubby Jared Ombongi. According to Betty, people shouldn’t judge her because of her public meltdown. It only shows she’s a human being just like any other.
“Keep it strong gorgeous, there are no formula to love and life your peace of mind comes first. Just reading some conversions online, and isn’t it funny how some people out here think just because you are a public figure you have to have your life, emotions and decisions all together.” she posted.
Muli made the announcement on 24th saying that Ombongi was cheating on him with several women. In return, Ombongi claimed that she the one who had several lovers. Betty asked Muli to keep doing her own thing and stop minding the haters.
“The biggest lie, misconceptions, be you girl 99% of people out here judging or talking trush are not even anywhere close to getting their acts together, drink some wine and dance to your favourite song babe. Merry Christmas,” Betty went on.
Betty Kyalo and Mercy Kyalo have reacted to a story published by Nairobian that gave an inside look of how her relationship with Governor Hassan Joho ended.
The newspaper claimed that Joho took back a BMW X6, a Porsche Cayenne and the house he had bought for Betty in Nairobi’s Kilimani area after their breakup leaving her homeless.
The Porsche Cayenne was repossessed while she was driving on Mombasa Road.
“Joho took his house and the BMW. The Porsche Cayenne was repossessed from Betty when she was behind the wheels on Mombasa Road. She was forced to park off the road near Nyayo Stadium and pick her stuff before Joho’s security detail seized it,” claimed the newspaper.
It seems Betty Kyalo and her sister Mercy Kyalo were not so much bothered by the story. Mercy Kyalo took to social media to claim that Betty was not shaken while Betty herself decided to laugh off the story.
“Nothing shakes us. Moving on,” said Mercy Kyalo on Instagram.
“But at least they used a nice picture,” captioned Betty.

The presenter, who left the station with an emotional farewell party, has now taken a vacation to Dubai to steam off before starting her new job. On social media, Kyalo informed fans that she’s out for vacation for a few days.
“Out of the 254 for a short while” shared Betty, adding: “Good Morning from the other side. Summer! Home for the Next few days. DownTown Dubai”
KTN news anchor Betty Kyalo is taking her time in choosing her next man after her first relationship was a disaster that still gets talks about many years later.
After her ugly break up with Dennis Okari, the news anchor will not date anytime soon. In fact, she shared that she has met several people who impressed her but she’s not yet in that mind set.
“I want to package myself as a businesswoman, a mum and a potential partner in life. So that when I decide to get married again or start dating somebody, I’m bringing something to the table,” said Betty in an interview with the Star.
“And because of that packaging, I’m taking some time off. I have met quite a number of amazing people out there, but nachukua vitu pole pole. I take every day at a time, there’s no hurry. Niko tu sawa. Very single.”
We all know how much hit NTV has taken after journalists ditched the station. KTN has also suffered in one one way or another. But in the midst of all this anguishing, Citizen TV has reaped big as several journalists from top media houses have all joined the station.
Though Citizen TV recently lost one of it’s top journalist, Kanze Dena, after she was picked by Uhuru Kenyatta as Deputy State House Spokesperson and Deputy Head of the Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU), the station has an All-star team that will be unveiled this week.
A new promo has revealed their plans that Sunday Live will be presented by former NTV reporter Victoria Rubadiri and paired with Jeff Koinange.

KTN news anchor Betty Kyalo was recently in hospital leaving fans with questions regarding her health. Previously, many had believed that the popular news anchor was hospitalized after eating cheap food from a Kibanda in Ngara after she was taking for a lunch date by Ghetto Radio presenter Bonoko.
Bonoko’s food was fine
Kyalo has come out to explain why she was hospitalized and put on drips, saying that fatigue and tonsils were the main reason. She also received some injections that she rather not talk about.
“Hey my people… i’m great… feeling much better. Fatigue and some bad tonsils got me down today but i’m now better chilling at home. Pia kudungwa shindano some places si mchezo.? A big thank you to AAR Karen staff who took care of me like a baby. Nawapenda my people,” posted Kyalo after being released from the hospital.
Susan Kaittany came out to call Betty Kyalo — a once good friend — not loyal at all after she took all her employees and started her own spa just next to hers.
It seems Betty Kyalo has come out to answer her attack saying that she just human and humans are not perfect.
In long post, the KTN news anchor poured her heart out after Susan’s remarks.
“I’m not going to say I’m the most wise woman or perfect in any way but I feel an impression on my heart to say this. I feel like the world today has so much hate, so much spite, so much anger and this has nothing to do with anything that has been said about me(trust me I’m a tough woman who’s favoured by God and that’s all that matters) but it has everything to do with the kind of people we have become. Hateful. As you sleep I pray for love and happiness in your life,” she said.
“I pray that you will find joy in something in your life even if you are struggling with something it could be sickness of a loved one, unemployment, a hurtful break up, a business Deal gone sour, a death of someone you were close to. It could be people who don’t see the greatness in you and shun your abilities and talents. Look for positivity in your life, look for the ones who truly love you and believe in you. Keep them close even if it’s one person. Know that there’s always rain before a rainbow (I’m a testimony)
“But above all I believe in the Law of attraction. If you attract love, if you are kind, good to people(even those that can’t give you anything) if you are humble, if you are helpful, if you see the good in people, all that will come back to you. If you give evil you’ll always be surrounded by the same. Love one another. Spread positivity, be good at seeing the best in people, whether it’s a Security guard, your nanny, your employee; be a Love ambassador in all you do. Tonight I pray for you to be better, to love more and hate less. I love you. Love BK. Goodnight. ❤”
A guy, who has been obsessed with news anchor Betty Kyalo for a long time now, seems to forget he’s just another contender in a long list of men who are having sleepless nights trying to figure out how they can become the next Okari.
Naphas Masia — his social media name — became ‘too aggressive’ on social media while trying to flirt with the sassy news anchor prompting her to block him on all platforms. She also spoke to her enemy– Susan Kaittany, a thing that pissed the news anchor. That’s what all stalkers get anyway.
But it seems Masai has not lost hope and is optimistic one day, Kyalo and him will be one.
“She blocked me on social media because of some issues. You do know that Betty is no longer pals with Susan Kaittany? Well, I was pals with both of them, and when she found out that I had gone to meet Susan, she got angry and blocked me,” said Masai who spoke to HotSecrets.
“Betty and I talk. I meet her at various events. We do know each other. We talk all the time. I even have her number. We chat all the time on WhatsApp. I just want you to tell her I love her.”
Penned a short letter
After being blocked, Masai, who is a Kenyatta University law student, took to social media to show that she still loves the anchor and hopefully they’ll start taking again.
“Dear Betty Kyallo, I will always be there for you, fight for you and try to make sure you smile. You know that I love you with all my heart, I want to keep you and never let you go. My love for you is like corruption in Kenya, it will never end.”
